You don't say

Do they hand out trophies for first-half leads?

Lead down to five with eight minutes to play ... you don't say.

I didn't realize Notre Dame was so good.   ::)

ND holding on up 4 with a little over 3 left.

Time for MDM to start drawing up some Butler fade away twisting 3s. After all, he's a clutch player and shoots 80% from that shot.

akmarq

Also...either Ebanks got hurt or is having the worst day of his career...or ESPN is wrong again.

0-4/0 pts/3 reb...guy must have left the game at some point.

Harangody and Abromaitis had 24 and 17 today.  We're going to have a real tough time matching up against those two, given how we looked against Leuer and Ebanks already this year.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

ND was at home....they have always been tough at home.

Outside of Depaul and Rutgers everybody is pretty capable  this year.

The Pickle

There is no player I love to hate more than Luke Harangody.

I agree that it's a tough place to play, I just don't get the love fest for WVU.  They're good, but they are not a top 10 team.  They just aren't.  At least not at this point in the season.  They may be later in the year but not now.

And for the argument earlier that they would beat Wisconsin.  Please.  That's just damn silly on all levels.

I hear they do at Coach Tom Crean's Youth Hoops Camp when a certain extra special camper is on the court

Just so we understand ... UW-Green Bay can beat Wisconsin. Gonzaga can beat Wisconsin, on a neutral court.
But West Virginia beating Wisconsin is "damn silly on all levels?"
Hmmmm.

Agree that WVU is not a top 10 team. Neither is Gonzaga or UWGB. Anyone who suggests any of these teams would beat Wisconsin is just damn silly on all levels. (Sorry, Pakuni, I originally posted this without seeing your reply)

Since 7 teams ranked in the top 16 lost yesterday, it's anybody's guess which teams "desreve" to be in the top ten right now.

MuMark

I know one thing....UWM can beat Green Bay.......by 20...... ;)

totally agree on the Wisconsin point. WVU is not as good as advertised.

At this point in the season, yes, silly.

Who has West Virginia beaten?  Is their big win against Texas A&M?  Marquette by 1 point on a miracle shot?

I know Wisconsin has defeated Duke, Purdue, etc.

There is a rumor that Leuer broke his wrist....if he did, that changes Wisconsin considerably.

Hope not. Kid's a hell of a player. He'd look good in blue and gold.

Who has Wisconsin beaten away from their home court?
Obviously you believe UWGB - the same UWGB that just lost to UWM by 20 - is better than West Virginia.
Got it.

Seriously, you're arguing an assinine point here. Nobody in their right mind would believe it's impossible for WVU - probably not a top 10 team, but certainly a legit top 25 team - to beat Wisconsin. Especially given Wisconsin's loss to UWGB. Just silly.

It's super extra assinine that people are getting this worked up over a match-up that isn't happening this year.  Compare teams, records, RPI, etc all you want...there's a reason we play the games rather then just debating who will win.
