19 Points in the First Half--Ob Boy!

What a great job of substitution, Buzz!! You had the two midgets playing at the same time again for about 8 minutes.

No offense in there at the end of the half. Fulce and Williams, the two midgets and Bucyks. What is up with that? Get a clue, Buzz. Also--get a center!
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Great post  ::)

Seriously, we're just playing lazy and uninspired and allowing Nova too many open drives to the lane without doing much of anything on offense.  The turnovers have been mental for the most part. A ten second back court violation?!? Good grief, wake up boys!

And your solution is what exactly? I mean, you know since we are so deep and Jimmy and Lazar are in foul trouble? That's Buzz' fault how again?

  I'm sick of people attacking Buzz what do you expect him to do. One of the best if not the best class in Marquette history just graduated and he has had
one year of incoming players and they are good players...it is our first road Big East game for a lot of the new faces.

57 points in the second half!    Very exciting!    Bad finish.   Hater.

IMO, the second half would have been a repeat of the first have had Coach Wright not gotten out of his man to man defense and gone into that ill conceived 3-2 zone half court press. That did two things to give MU a pulse----#1, it sped the game up which is the last thing you want with a 20 point lead in the 2nd half----and secondly the press was too aggressive and left the basket unprotected (as it had in the first game) and we picked up a couple of easy baskets to begin the MU rally-----then Buzz goes into a full court press which sped the game up even more to MU's advantage (NOVA fell for the bait and tried to beat the press with a quick shot rather than running some clock before shooting).
