How does a team that lost to IU beat Syracuse at the Carrier Dome?
Pitt underrated or Cuse overrated?

Maybe Boston University is the team to beat this year?

Indiana is a NC caliber basketball team, that's my conclusion.

Didn't mean for this to turn into a thread about IU...Any comments about the teams in our conference?

Hard to win when you hit one 3 all game.  Cuse shot a chilly 7% from behind the arc while Pitt shot 41%...that'll do it every time!

I don't think there's another team in the league as reliably inconsistent at Syracuse.  Lose to LeMoyne in an exhibition, beat UNC, then lose to Pitt?

Last season they lost to Cleveland State in nonconference.  The year before was UMass & Rhode Island.  Before that it was Drexel.  Before that it was Bucknell.

I'm not sure Boeheim has instilled the discipline in his players.  His teams always seem to have a lot of talent, and when they play well they look like championship material.  But you can count on them to be a middle of the pack team in conference play, and they typically have an embarassing game before conference play begins.
