I know Zona is in rebuilding mode, and BYU has a good team this year, but BYU beats Arizona at the McKale Center by THIRTY tonight.  Yowza.  PAC-10 is really unimpressive this year...

Makes me wonder... when was the last time Marquette lost at home by thirty or more?

I'm bookmarking this post in case we lose by 30 or more at home this year. Some questions simply do not get asked.

U of A has been uncompetitive three times already, at OU, at SD State and tonight. I guess tonight was the first time it's happened to them at home. Already lost at home to UNLV, too. First time they've lost two at home in December since Lute's first year, which coincidentally also was the last time they didn't make the tourney.

Fradette had a mere 49 points, which were school, building and Fiesta Bowl Classic records (U of A used to play a tourney around the Fiesta Bowl like MU used to do with the Classic).

The interesting thing that's MU related from the Pac 10 is KO has quietly won 6 in a row with a big-time hodge-podge roster, including against Tennessee, St. Mary's and UNLV, heading into Thursday's return opener, against U of A.

I'm willing to bet KO would love nothing more then to thrash Zona.  But he better get his licks in the next year or two, because Zona will bounce back after that.

Arizona beat NC State at home. Wonder how that feels.

KO would LOVE to beat U of A BADLY Thursday. Dream job was to replace Olson and it didn't go well two years ago.

U of A will be back soon, perhaps as soon as next year. Wise only senior on roster, Horne only junior on roster.

U of A could be worse than 6-6, too. They got lucky to beat NC State, Lipscomb and Colorado, but also got unlucky in losing to the Rodents and UNLV. The sick thing is the Pac 10 is so down this year that at 6-6 non-conference the NIT is certainly plenty plausible at this point, and that group could use some extra home games in a tournament atmosphere.
