Big Ten to 16 Teams?

There were two articles in yesterday's USA Today to boot.

This is just getting stupid, 16 teams. You have a number in the name of your conference, Big TEN! They have to change the name of their conference in my opinion. This is all for money, and one last note: Big Ten football is overrated.

My favorite comment:
"I'm surprised there's not more talk of adding MAC teams, since that's who the Big 10 schedules anyways."

Maybe they can hide the number 16 in the words Big Ten.

I'm going to go with Missouri, but Rutgers will say yes if asked.

I would laugh with pleasure at the Badger fans jumping off the ledges in droves after all the B.S. they have stated about a 16 team Big East.

LOL

They'll easily be able to use doublespeak to talk their way out of it.  "We've always been in favor of 16 team conferences."
