National ink never hurts. Best game I ever attended.

MOST OUTSTANDING SINGLE-GAME PERFORMANCE: Dwyane Wade's triple-double vs. Kentucky; March 29, 2003
Few casual basketball fans had heard the name Dwyane Wade (much less learned how to spell it) before the 2003 Midwest regional final in Minneapolis, but the 6-5 junior guard from Marquette made quite a name for himself that day. Wade had 29 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in the Golden Eagles' 83-69 upset of top-seeded Kentucky. The runner-up in this category goes to Syracuse freshman Carmelo Anthony for his 20-point, 10-rebound, seven-assist performance in the Orange's victory over Kansas in that season's NCAA championship game.

Agreed. Best basketball game ive ever been to, and Ive seen Mr Jordan play quite a bit.

Talk about a brilliant last second college decision- called broker late friday evening drunk asking for 6 tickets, played hardball when he wouldnt drop price enough for "broke college student." Became too drunk to continue 'negotiations' as the night wore on so adandoned the cause. Received call 8 am saying "You are ripping me off, but ill give u the tickets" If I recall they were $25 a piece, and like 6 rows behind the basket.

Business 101- get drunk enough to the point where u are too careless to cave and give in, increasing beer muscles as negotiations heat up. Pass out, only to make seller cave and call next morning with the tickets :)

Lifetime memory
Nearly periled by drunkard

Love it.

Seeing that gives me goosebumps..

Random Question...does anyone know if they've put anything together...like a DVD or anything of that season/NCAA games? Just wondering.
It's not about ME,
It's about US.

Wade for President

Wasn't Wade's triple double the third in tournament history (behind Magic and Utah's Andre Miller)?!?

That is correct

For some reason Novak's 41 against UConn was the first game that came to mind.  But, in hindsight, I suppose Wade's game wasn't bad either.

I watched that game at a fellow alum's house.  While driving home, I am pretty sure there were several people in cars on Capitol Dr that evening that considered calling the cops because there was a strange man by himself in a car screaming at the top of his lungs flailing his arms around.
