What a beat down on your home court. Two straight games blowing big leads in second half.

Can Williams coach or what?
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

we're very small, not exceptionally quick, have no depth and are not great shooters. Other than that, we're fine.

texaswarrior74

yada...yada....but NC State is NOT that good a team.......we are playing terribly......sloppy ball handling and effort against a less athletic team....MU doesn't look anything like the ream we saw last weekend....where is the effort and concentration?

We look like we went to sleep during half time and haven't woken up yet.

Now I am really looking forward to UW next week and then the BE schedule.

Don't think we can play Buzz's style of basketball with a 7 man rotation.

MUMountin

We're just a little too young, too short, too short-handed.  We're gonna surprise a few teams this year  (already have), but consistency will be a struggle.

NumenFlumenque

Part of the reason we lost this game was due to Buzz's aversion for calling timeouts. We came out in the second half shooting ice cold; whenever we weren't turning the ball over. He waited until around the 14:30 mark to call his first timeout. That's just wrong when you're team is playing ridiculously sloppy. A timeout would at least have allowed him to tell the players to relax a little and make better passes.

Muhoops85

Forget the Madison game, the uwm game will be interesting.  That big dope they have could score 40.

Today, Roy Williams watched Kentucky go on a 31-8 run in the 1st half...and he didnt call a timeout...is he wrong?

to the cliff everyone... it's about what I expect here; mass hysteria.

Niv Berkowitz

Yes. He's wrong. He's not omnipotent.

We suck. Going to lose a lot of games. Find the nearest cliff or bridge.

As I posted in August, enjoy the ride with lots of peaks andd valleys.  As a small team with a short bench, MU simply cannot afford cheap turnovers as happened today.  The loss of Cadougan shows up in games like this.

And the loss of Otule too - however many quality minutes he could give us.

Actually, when it comes to N Carolina basketball, old Roy might be considered omnipotent (all powerful). I think you meant to say he's not omniscient (all knowing).

VegasWarrior77

I was watching the first half of the NC-UK game and the announcer stated that "Williams doesn't like to use timeouts.  He likes his team to play through the adversity."  I was wondering where Buzz got that from!

Time to get our players on steroids before we lose all of them from getting beat up by players twice their size.

Roy did the same thing two years ago in The MNC game against Kansas.

Believe me, it makes UNC fans crazy as well. Their boards were flaming about today too.

TallTitan34

So we have height problems and a short bench you guys say.

WHY NOT PLAY ERIK WILLIAMS!!!!!?????

I'll trust Roy's judgement over anyone on their board.  I wonder what the man would have to accomplish before Monday morning quaterbacks would stop questioning his decision making?

texaswarrior74

^^^^^

Agree completely. Their football boards are even worse.
