Game 8: North Carolina State
               

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, MU sophomore guard Darius Johnson-Odom will get a chance to play against his hometown university on Saturday when the North Carolina State Wolfpack roll into the Bradley Center.

Johnson-Odom said he never really had any aspirations of playing for NC State because he was looking to play collegiately somewhere outside his home region, but admitted pulling for the Wolfpack along with his family and friends growing up.

That, of course, will go out the window at tipoff, as the Golden Eagles (6-1) attempt to get back on track after their disappointing 57-56 loss to Florida State on Sunday in the championship game of the Old Spice Classic.
