MU B2002

Anyone happen to check out his line from last night.

38 min
6-7 from the floor
3-3 FT

1 reb
5 assist
2 steals
2 TO
17 points (career high)

I know it's been said before, but kudos to Wes.  Great to have another MU guy to look for in the NBA box scores.

There may be a discussion on this elsewhere...

I have been keeping up with his statline and I know that in the NBA to +/- is a relatively new stat, yet Wes' +/- always seems to be higher than anyone elses on the Jazz. Even though he doesn't fill up the box score the Jazz do well with him on the court.

I hope Wes's agent was able to get some playtime escalators in his contract.  Even if Wes would get another $50,000 for cracking the starting lineup, Utah would be getting off CHEAP!

I'm sure Wes was thrilled simply to get the rookie minimum salary contract, period. Unless you're a first rd. pick, that's it. The second contract will prove to be more lucrative.

An undrafted rookie free agent does not get to negotiate anything. His $430,000 becomes guaranteed sometime in January. I'm sure hes fine with that.

While his full contract isn't guaranteed until January, I can't imagine the Jazz cutting Wes now, he'd be picked up in a heartbeat.

Speaking of the Jazz... anyone happen to see what the Lake Show did to Utah in the 4th last night?

6 pts and 2 FG, and I am talking about the entireteam.  Yikes.

Looks like Wes has no problem putting up shots...
