CBS has us as a two seed in their projected bracket with a possible third match up against Pitt.

wow.. seeded above Pitt?  Clearly they must be wrong!  :D

That matchup with S.Alabama brings back bad memories from the pre-NIT when I was a frosh or soph.

That South Alabama game sucked.  We lost that one by 13.

Herboturbo...that was our sophomore year.

tower912

....getting our rematch with UW in the finals.   When you look at a bracket and see us as a 2 seed, our bracket looks doable.   Shoot well for 6 games, that's all it takes.

how about weber state with the 3 seed in san jose?

AlpineWarrior

Notice Weber State is also a #16 seed in St Louis. I think Parrish meant for Washington State to be the #3 in San Jose.

I really hope we don't play PITT in the tourney if we beat them on the 3rd.  I would probably guarantee a loss if that situation occurred.  I would rather have us lose on the 3rd and play them in the tourney then beat them the 3rd and play them again in the tourney.  Once u beat a team relatively close to ur level of competition/conference opponent twice in a season ur virtually guaranteed to lose the 3rd match up. Villanova/Georgetown (1985?) anyone??

MUDPT

Ugggggh, that South Alabama game, my first ever game at MU (regular season anyway).  I remember at Coffee, Crean and Donuts, Crean talking about how good they were.  I thought they can't be that good, and then they kicked the crap out of us.

I would be scared with that second round matchup against Zona, I think Zona would match up really really well against us, athletic just like MU, and Budinger is a stud freshman

and I wont buy this bracket, no way Big Ten is getting 2 #1 seeds, the SEC, ACC, BE, Pac-10 and Big 12 are all better conferences, no way can I see Big Ten receiving 2 number 1 seeds

BTW,  I love this link.  It compares all predictions as to the seedings in the tourney.  Perhaps this should be a permanent link in resources:

MU is a solid 3 seed according to the sum of all projections.  UCLA, Florida, Wisc., and NC are the 1 seeds.

They also have the top 3 (of 5) BE teams in the same region. #2 MU, #3 Pitt, #5 Georgetown.  Doubt the committee would actually arrange it that way.

DONE!  Also added bracketography and bracketology as well as the basketball-reference.com sites.  If anyone has any other good links they'd like me to consider adding just send me a PM!  I wasn't sure if anyone is actually using the menu so I haven't really been tacking anything new onto it in a while... does anyone else use it?
