Looks like our game against Georgetown will be yet another vs. a ranked team this year.

I'm glad to see G-Town make it into the top 25.  They're a good team and it will be a tough contest for us on Saturday.

Agreed GT has played very well since the beginning of the year and definitely desrve to be ranked.  A very good team and what will prove to be a war this weekend.

One thing that really bugs me is Nevada, not only did they win 2 games this past week by a combined 6 points.  But the Saturday game was a joke.  Not sure who all watched it but Fazekas fouled a Hawaii player "as" he made a basket.  After ruling it a make on the floor and then conferencing the officials upheld the orginal call for the hoop and harm.  Putting Hawaii up 1 and shooting a free throw with just a few seconds left.  Now it was definitely questionable as to whether he was in the act of shooting.  But the offiical satnding 2 feet from the play ruled it that way and they agreed apparently in their huddle.  Then the Nevada coach, Fox, goes absolutely crazy, tears off his coat and has to be restrained at which point they rehuddled and waive off the hoop giving a foul but ruling it before the shot.  Hawaii hits a shot just after the horn goes off to lose.   A bunch of crap, not to mention lost in the whole process was Fazekas grabbed the player's jersey with both hands and literally threw him to the floor.  Now regardless if it was shooting or not that was as clear of an intentiaonal foul as I have even see.
Then they are voted ahead of MU??!!  Schools like Butler, Nevada, and Memphis ahead of MU is a joke.  MU has a war every game and these joke schools skate thru a conference schedule that is a collection of teams no one has ever heard of.  I realize it is not that big of a deal but seeing them just ahead of MU is a joke.  Sad thing is we beat NDSU and we are top 8-9.

Yep, I saw that game and Hawaii got screwed.  They ignored the first foul on Fazekas and didn't blow the whistle until the second foul when the Hawaii guy clearly was shooting the ball while falling down.  Ball goes in and should have counted.   I thought Fox was going to lose it but apparently if you act like a maniac you can get a call reversed.

Hawaii got screwed twice in the final seconds.  Fazekus has a bad ankle.  I sure wish Marquette would have signed him.
