Playing on the same team, last game Grimm had 23 and 10, Fitz scored 18.

Must have used his contacts including McCarty, LaRussa, And Maddox to get them on European teams.
BTW, how's that IU pitcher Doug Melvin selected, based on his say so, doing?

P.S. Not difficult to post without mentioning the db by name.

23 points in one game for the reaper?  Wow.  He scored 25, 25, 23, and 25 points total in his 4 years at MU.

Grimm & Fitz are doing pretty well on the team.  I don't know much about Euro basketball, but I like the numbers they're posting:

I always liked Grimm...he was a grinder.  But that says something about some Euro leagues where Grimm can put up that much production.

I should see if that league needs a 6 foot out-of-shape power forward.

damuts222

Grimm was a grinder but he could not hold on to the ball, every time he touched it you wanted him to get rid of it

In 2004 I was playing as Marquette on a College Basketball '04 for PS2.  The first move I made was to cut Chris Grimm.

I think you could make a buck in France, land of the short.  True story.  Back in summer 1992 I was traveling in France with a few family members.  I was 22, 6ft 4in tall, athletic but wiry build with a crew cut wearing a USA t-shirt and sunglasses.  These french people in the south of France kept taking pictures of me from a distance and would do double takes when they saw me.  My sister, who spoke french, finally asked them what was going on after a day or two and was told they all thought I was part of the Dream Team on vacation!

chapman

23 and 10?  As in only 23 moving screens in 10 minutes of play?  He really has improved!

Are you just a little shorter version of Jordan?

That team was simply ridiculous. I wonder what Christian Laettner thinks about it now. He's the only guy on there that isn't or won't be in the basketball HOF.

You could start a lineup of Stockton at the 1, MJ at the 2, play Magic out of position as a 6' 9" 3, Malone at the 4 and Ewing at the 5 and those 5 could play against a "Dream Team" of any five other players ever to play the game. Who's better? Maybe Big O over Stockton? Wilt/Russell over Ewing? But you'd still have to deal with MJ and Magic on the same team.

BTW, check out David Robinson's arms. 7' 1" and ripped. Unbelievable physical specimen. If he was as mean as Wilt, he could have been the best center ever. Too nice of a guy for a center. Great leader, though, once his playing days were over. Great American in every sense.

No, I'm white and grew up in Michigan playing hockey instead of basketball.  But when everyone around you is shorter then your 5-8 sister - you're a spectacle to them.

1: Magic
2: Jordan
3: BIRD (even though he was old by this time)
4: Barkley
5: Ewing

Well that'd be who I'd have started.

You obviously haven't seen Chris play in quite a while. His game has improved immensely over the last few years. He's made quite a career for himself playing ball in Switzerland. And by the way...Reap was the one who helped get Fitz on the SAM Massagno squad. So suck on that Kramerica.

You mean his European coaches have been better than his collegiate coach? That may be, but, they probably don't have nearly the contacts his old coach had.

I have to give this a 10/10.  Great creativity.  Anybody can just come in and post "Crean" in response to the "Crean Free Zone" directive, but you used some creativity and waited for the perfect opening.  Clearly you have a gift.  You may need professional treatment for your OCD, but you do have a gift.

You could start a team just as good with the remaining players on that squad.

Drexler, Pippen, Bird, Barkley, Robinson.

If you ask me Barkley/Robinson > Malone/Ewing any day of the week

A lot of people say the debate for the best power forward ever is between Malone and Duncan, but I agree with BMA, I would take Barkley over them. He was quite the player, especially considering he's shorter than Wes Matthews.
