i think the scedule is absoltely outstanding and shows put into it by Buzz.  We could play abunch of 100-200 rpi type teams but early on we might struggle against them which would mean we have to play with a tighter bench.  Playing a bunch of very bad team will allow us to go 12 deep often and still avoid an upset.  Throw in NCSU and UW-Madison and the old spice classic along witht he BE and out SOS will be more than adequate.  This schedule reflects what Syracuse, Georgetown and othe rBE schools have done for the last 30 years, worked pretty well for them.

I agree we need easy games in the beginning. The team will have a rough time this year against good competition. However, I think we will only have 10 players for the non-conference schedule. I have my doubts about Fulce and Mbao. We will finish non-conference with 3 to 5 losses. 8-5 to 10-3.
