i have a few questions for burning DVD's

What is a good program to burn with? I play all of the games on DivX player and I bought about 20 DVD-R discs to burn them to. However, when I insert the disc, and drag the file into the burning space, it just says insert blank disc. Do I need a new type of burner or a different kind of CD? I think its the DVD b/c on the cover it says "for use in home DVD video recorders"

Can someone tell me what type of DVD or DVD burner program to use? and if it is the DVD's where could I get them?

I've used Roxio and Nero, had zero problems with either one.  There are some higher end ones out there too that work well.  Ulead Studio was another good one I've used.

you will need a dvd burner. first make sure that your computer can do that. if not i would recommend an external, depending on your computer system. but i found mine on ebay for about 40 bucks and it works great.  i also use dvd shrink and dvd decrypter as an iso file, and it works everytime.
It's not the size of your Diener; its how you use it

Curious if anyone has taken the MU game torrents, which are xviD avi's and burned them to cd/dvd for play in their dvd player?  What software, and what format does that?

If your DVD player can play a DivX / XviD (many bought in the last year can...) then you just burn the file as a data file, and pop it in the DVD player.
