Saw this in SI's Truth and Rumors Section:

"Phoenix has repeatedly inquired about the availability of reserve guard Travis Diener, but Orlando has been reluctant to make a trade because of its unwillingness to take back Marcus Banks and his $20 million contract."

now that would be a great situation for travis.  not only because they have a great chance to win an nbs title, but there style of play fits travis's game perfectly.  they love to push the ball and shoot threes, the 2 things travis does best...

from espn's rumor central:

"Jan 30 - Magic GM Otis Smith, as usual this time of year, spent most of his Monday afternoon on his cell phone, talking with general managers from around the league, most looking to tinker with rosters through a trade.

"I'm making calls, and taking a lot of calls," Smith said. "But 90 percent of the time, we're hearing from people who want something for nothing. We're likely to take the team we have into the summer, and then we'll be busy."

He still gets calls about little-used Travis Diener, but no one has offered much real value in return. -- Orlando Sentinel"
