Are more games at the B.C. going to be on All Access?
« on: November 06, 2006, 04:30:45 PM »
I guess I assumed just this one exhibition game would be.  Perhaps others will be, too.  That would be terrific, but for some reason it was my understanding that our deal with the Big East precludes us from doing so.

Please correct me if I am wrong.   ???

I think you're right.  On the schedule page, http://gomarquette.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/sched/marq-m-baskbl-sched.html .. yesterday's game was the only one with a "Watch" link.

What also really pisses me off is the 7 games that are on ESPNU or ESPN360, which few of us will be able to watch.

I'm lucky in that Charter in my city carries ESPN360.  I've never watched live video on it, but the archived video looks pretty good.  Only slightly jerky or stuttering.

It is nice when companies stream platform independent broadcasts.  It is not so nice when you have to call your local cable company and beg them to offer a channel such as ESPN360.

Chicos, when is Direct TV going to post the full court schedule online?

Chicos, when is Direct TV going to post the full court schedule online?

It's been up for about a week.

Here you go...we are on 4 times this year...the Big East has about 70 games or so

Thanks, for whatever reason the schedule link was not working for me last night.

Can't you get the 360 coverage on your computer for like $15.00 for the day of the game, or am I thinking of a different ESPN program?

I don't think so.  ESPN360 is the website ESPN is holding hostage while trying to get revenue from ISPs.

Who'd have thunk the "E" in ESPN stood for "Extortion".

(Yes, yes, I understand ESPN is a business.  But how many media channels must they clog before it's enough?  5? 20? 50?   Answer: "As many as the market will bear."  Yeah, thanks for that.)
