Bama is cratering, losing to unranked Arkansas by 24 with 10 minutes to go.

If they lose this one (a home game mind you), they will have lost 3 out of their last 4 and should drop out of the top 25.  They are currently ranked 12th so that is good for the good guys!!!

this is reminiscent of a few years back, where at one point they were ranked #1 in the country earlier in the year, and then i believe failed to make the ncaa tournament.  pretty sure it was bama...

edit: nevermind.  it was 2002, and they made the tourney, but they did drop all the way out of the rankings after being number 1

Bama ended up losing by 6.  A nice run but too little, too late.  Steele ended up having 1 point.

Arkansas isn't exactly a bad team.  Although their last 2 "big" wins are against Bama and LSU whom are both hitting the wall hard at this point of the season
