Very nice win for our Catholic school brethren against Huggy Bear.

Hards Alumni

Flyers played a great game against WVU.

plus it is always great to see Huggins bow out in the first round.

mviale

I had them 1st round, now I wish I had them in round 2
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Dayton underrated, or WVU overrated?

A little of both, I think.  We saw how good Dayton can be, and how bad WVU can be.

Dayton wins 68-60.

Wanted all the BE teams to move on.  But happy for Dayton - was at the game in Chicagoland - friendly fans that were hoping we would meet again in the tourney.  Not very likely, but glad they get to move on after sweating out an at-large selection.

Daniel

Well, Dayton beat us, and we beat Huggy - so I would have rather seen UWV win, but all in all, I am bery happy WE won :)

Daniel

No - wanted UWV to win - Dayton beat us, we beat UWV, and UWV is Big East.  Happy we won tho :)

Hards Alumni

It would have been nice to see all the BE teams move on to legitimize the 'best conference ever' argument.

but if there was one team I would have liked to see beat a BE team it would be Dayton.

after watching Illinois and Minnesota get bounced out and Purdue struggle against a team we beat by 30 I think the "Big Ten deserves nine teams" argument that our former coach presented is hogwash.

He would have argued that they deserved 10 except he didn't want to be the lone loser left out.

I had Dayton in my pool...really impressed me when we played them.   Gregory is becoming a pretty good coach.

except they did deserve the amount they got.

and they also deserved their seeds.

I wished WVU had won b/c I had them going to Round 2, and also *thought* they were a better team since they beat Pitt last week to meet syracuse in semifinals.

Although it's somewhat satisfying that another team (besides us) fell to Dayton in our league, by the same token it makes one scratch one's head b/c i guess fundamentally our league's teams should beat that team.

Oh well!  I picked the West KY upset, i'm happy :)

ATWizJr

Nope.  Looking for the league to do as well as possible.

Dienerfor3

I'm happy because I picked Dayton.  They beat us, we beat WVU... it was an obvious pick, right?  ;D

Yes - glad they were the 6 knocked off by an 11 and not us.

Dayton and the Jesuits!

They graduate athletes....Huggins doesn't
