What people always fail to mention when they state that MU has lost 5 of the last 6... is that the 5 losses came to 3 #1 seeds and 2 #3 seeds...

I would be willing to bet that Utah State would lose those 5 games as well, and wouldn't be leading in every single one of them in the second half.

Nothing wrong with being stealth and under the radar.

According to FoxSports.com.

Bulletin board material....Especially since I just posted it on one...

I could be mistaken, but I believe this is the same site that had MU projected as a #10 seed.  Anyone going there for their college bb fix has to be nuts!

I don't really take offense to that... we lost our starting pg, struggled at the end, are facing the #25 ranked team and 4 hrs from USU..... if it wasn't MU I'd be looking at us as primed for an "upset".

With Bucky as a potential 8...

Needless to say I ignore Fox Sports unless Jay Glazer is scooping something on the NFL...

I would figure the 12 teams I wouldn't pick in my bracket:

Binghamton
Morehead St.
Alabama St.
Robert Morris
East Tenn St
Chattenooga
Radford
Morgan St
Cal St. Northridge
Cornell
Stephen F Austin
American

...I don't know.. thats just my 12 teams to stay away from

This type of reporting might land me a job on ESPN... still won't forget what Hubert Davis said about Michigan St: "They remind me of a team that could make a run to the final four, or could get knocked out in the first two rounds"... no crap, is there another choice?

From the MSNBC preview, FWIW:

Who's hot, and who's not entering the Big Dance
Marquette
The Golden Eagles started the season 23-4. Then Dominic James broke his foot and Marquette lost its luster and five of its next six games. But while Marquette has gone cold, don't put the Golden Eagles on ice.

Any team that can without James take Syracuse to overtime, nearly defeat Villanova, and lose by only four at Louisville is dangerous — and a potential bracketbuster.

Now that sounds like something that was written by someone who has actually taken a close look at the situation.
