Big Papi

Sounds like there is a serious health issue with Liam.  Lets hope that he gets better soon.

MUfan12

Buzz mentioned it on his radio show. Said that before practice Liam felt lightheaded and was extremely dehydrated. They ran some tests and they were "not good." He's staying back and getting treatment.

Here's to a full and speedy recovery for Liam!

Wow - that is too bad.  We wish him well.  Heading to a higher altitude dehyrated would have been a bad idea.

Get better quick Liam!  The team will need you for round 3!

For Liam, being a 7-footer, the air can get thin up there.

Hopefully he comes back real soon.  Sounds like Liam is the best center on the team right now for whatever thats worth.

Buzz says he is killing Burke and Otule in practice.....until he got sick.   It never ends.   Good luck, Liam.
Fearless and cheerful because it is so much fun.

CAINMUTINY

I really hope its not cardiomyopathy.......that would be career ending

MuMark

Actually what Buzz said was that Otule was having his way with Burke and Lazar in practice today. Sounds like he is coming along at least in practice. Hopefully bodes well for next year.

Buzz also said that before Liam got hurt Jerel was picking him on his team because he liked his activity.

Get well soon Liam.

Does anyone know what might actually be wrong with him?

Coleman

Wait if he was healthy would he have played in the NCAA? Didn't he redshirt this year?

Yes he redshirted!!!

spartan3186

It was a redshirt-transfer season. Even if he wanted to he couldn't play.

tower912

The completely inappropriate response is 'Who DOESN'T completely have their way with Burke and Otule?'    Good luck and God's blessings, Liam.
Fearless and cheerful because it is so much fun.

Am I the only one that thinks there may be too much being read into this. Sonds to me like the disappointment is that he cannot travel to Boise. Lightheaded and dehyrdated...I had that a couple weeks ago..simple case of influenza. Its brutal when you have it, but...

This was on the Rosiak chat transcript from yesterday:

Q: Sweet16MU, Milwaukee - Rumor has it, Buzz mentioned on his radio show that Liam McMorrow felt lightheaded and didn't get to go to Boise. Do you know his status?

A: Todd Rosiak - I saw him at The Annex last night, and he looked fine to me. I'm no doctor, however. And the team doesn't leave for Boise until Wednesday anyway.

Well, let's see. Lightheaded and dehydrated as symptoms could mean a lot of things.  Hopefully just the flu.

On the radio show, Homer asked Buzz if it's anything we should be concerned about.  Buzz said he didn't know yet--that the preliminary test results were not good.   Now, I'm not a doctor (but I play one on the internet), but if it's some kind of heart issue, he could be feeling fine but it could limit his physical activity.

He's a hockey player; he'll be fine.

Looks like we should ask Buzz to clarify what he meant by "Not good".  Otherwise, appears to be a lot of unsubstantiated unwarranted speculation for which I feel bad for Liam for.

Could the not good be referring to his travel plans, and not long term health? Just wondering.
