Pakuni

Crean to Virginia.
Buzz to Indiana.

Not trying to come at you Pakuni because lord knows you aren't the only one who's done it but that has gotten sooooooo old......makes MU fans look like the socially awkward kid who doesn't know when a joke becomes tired.

Anywhoo, I'm thinking Virginia is going to take a stab at Anthony Grant.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.  I had the "pleasure" of listening to Leitao a lot living in Chicago, and in my opinion he was an arrogant ass.  He acted like he was better than the DePaul program for nearly he entire time there.

I guess he is too good for Virginia now as well.  LOL.

But it was my first chance to be first with that joke.

Thanks for setting me straight, oh meister of joke expiration dates.

Your mom has become tired!  OH SNAP!

I'm a bit surprised by this one, he seemed to have the program heading in the right direction until this year.  I haven't followed the program much except to know they were one of the worst teams in the ACC this year.  I wonder if he now regrets the move to VA - he could have had a lifetime contract at DePaul.

Be alright with me if he went back to DePaul. Seemed to work out pretty well the last time.

the dork store called....and they found a fresh supply at MU Scoop.

How long you been waiting to pull that little gem out?

TJ

Good for him.  He completely deserves it for bolting a resurging DePaul team (and leaving poorly) to go to Virginia where he had very little chance of success.

The dork store not only has your number, but they contact you personally?
I'm impressed. They won't even return my calls.

Anthony Grant would be my first choice.  He was whom I wanted MU to chose last year.

Unfortunately he didn't want to come to the midwest.... He would have been my first choice too.

I liked Grant also, look for him to be chased by Georgia and Alabama.

Watch Virginia go after Jeff Jones, a UVA alumni, now at American.

AlumKCof93

Jones was at Virginia for years.  I can't imagine they'd bring him back.  I can't think of a situation when an ex-coach came back after being fired previously from the school.  Anyone?

I doidn't say it would happen...it won't. Might not be a bad move though.

Not in college basketball, but can anyone say "Billy Martin?"

I think it would be a bad move.  Rarely does going home again work out well.

MUrugger

That's why you should think before you ever leave.  ;)

DL to UCONN to help Calhoun?

That may not be that far-fetched.  At one point, before he bolted to UVa and DePaul officially became a member of the BE, I remember a lot of the media types viewed Leitao as the eventual successor to Calhoun.  The problem, though, was it would have been pretty much impossible to do it within the Big East, and that's why he jumped to UVa.

Something utterly ironic about your posts, since I believe I first heard George Costanza use that line some years ago.

that's what she said! ZING!

If UConn still is the dream job for Leitao, the assistant route is probably his best path back there right now.
