Does anybody know how the NBDL works.  Is it like baseball, where minor league teams are affiliated with Major league clubs or is it a general talent pool where teams can freely sign players?

It would be nice to see Merritt get a 10-day contract at some point.  His stats look pretty nice.

rocky - you going to go check out merritt's play?  Tulsa will be playing at Colorado (the 14ers) on Feb 2nd 7pm (mountain time) in Broomfield which is like only 10 miles from where you live, right?  tickets look to be $19 (https://www.choicesecure01.net/mainapp/EventSchedule.aspx?ClientID=broomfield)
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.

Look at that, he'll be playing for Joey Meyer.

Quote"To get a player of Merritt's ability, we had to give up a pretty valuable guy on our side and Cheyne has been doing really well. He has a chance to play at next level. But, we need a guy that can score inside and be a low post scorer. Scott will be able to play that part," said Tulsa 66ers head coach Joey Meyer.

Two or three teams share an affiliate.  The Lakers are the only team with their own.  Tulsa is shared by Mil, NYK and NO.

Maybe! Thanks for pointing that out...

Even better - I'll pick up a family night package for $44 (4 Tickets, 4 hotdogs, 4 Cokes, 4 bags of peanuts - all fees included) and try to get a few other MU folks there.  Oh and coin purses too - the freebies never end  :)
