Two thoughts

Crean said 4,000 student tickets have been sold. That means that the student section has been expanded from 3,500 and almost half of the undergrads are ticket holders, not bad. Will make for a great student section for three games out of the year everyone will show up?

For the Cardinal fans, I really enjoyed their cheer of "State School" to the tune of 'Hey Jude'. Could not for the life of me understand that.

I thought the CS fans were very well represented.  Whenever a CS guy scored nicely, a very loud cheer came forth from many fans scattered around the BC.

The 12,605 attendance figure may have set a record for highest no-shows.  I guessed 6k, my wife thought it was 7k.

But that 12k number is important, as it indicates the level of season ticket support.  I assume MU gave away a lot of tickets .. and the fact that it was Cardinal Stritch may have boosted the number by 1000.

Suffice it to say, our 14k average from last year will be broken this year, no doubt.
