I really, really enjoyed my "Heidi-game" moment today.

MU inbounds the ball with 40 seconds left, screen goes black for one minute - THIS IS A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM.

When the screen returns, 'nova players are being mobbed and MU fans look stunned. Thanks Time Warner! It's bad enough I have to pay your riduculous internet and cable rates.

Time Warner (and it's tv station) is the biggest embarassment to Milwaukee second only to Gwen Moore. (Yeah I went there F democrats too)

Wait, what???? I have Time Warner and didnt have a problem. Weird. Does it make a difference if it's the HD channel or not??? I had the 530 HD channel on, maybe thats the reason???

Also, while DirecTv has a superior product their outages here in the midwest due to weather are horrible.  My boss loses services 3-4 times a month.  I can't live like that.

I just picked up Season 1 of Entourage on Netflix, recommended from a co-worker. 4 episodes in, it is hilarious. Jeremy Piven is a stud. Perfect guy for that role.

Then that means his dish is pointed wrong, your boss should get that corrected.  We had people during Katrina that didn't even lose signal.

My boss is just one example. And his dish was professionally installed.  My brother in law likes direct tv but keeps a comcast basic package just for inclement weather.   I can't speak for new Orleans but in the Midwest it is very common, to the point if you're at a holiday party and it goes out, half the guys always say, "did you spray Pam on it before the winter?"

Like I said, I like direct tv but the weather issue makes it tough in this part of the world.
