At about the 17 second left mark Elmore points out that Redding "got away with one there" and then notes that Redding gets away with a push off with about 5 seconds to go. Add to that the no-foul call on McNeal's drive and that's a frustrating last 23 seconds for MU. But, that doesn't excuse McNeal letting his man go underneath for their winning basket.

OK, I've watched McNeal's drive about 10 times on the video. He drives the basket hard with lots of momentum, on a good angle, and yet the ball never reaches the rim and Villanova does not block it. So what happened?

Ah, I'm just frustrated with the loss, but how is that not a foul on Nova?

Upon second review of Anderson's layup, I want to know what the hell Jerel was exactly guarding there.  Looks like he cheated up, and I don't know what he was cheating up to stop. 

We shut down Georgetown with the backdoor layups, but Jerel loses his man with 2 seconds left?  What the (bleep)?

jerel got caught up in the "moment" and like Akeem Olajuwon became stupified watching the ball.  Like a second grader he stood there and wathed the ball.  And like second graders are told when your man stares at the ball ake a back cut to the basket if the question is "what was he thinking?'...well unfortunately after 4 years it has never seemed like he thinks much at all
