ESPN shop promoting MU sweatshirt on their hoops main page

I clicked on the ESPN men's hoop page tonight and there was an ad for the "ESPN Shop" with the tag-line: "Duke blue, Carolina blue -- heck, we even have Marquette blue."

Maybe a slight back-handed compliment, but I'll take it!

Still waiting for the day I can find an MU cap at any mall outside of greater Milwaukee, though.

personally, i think that is pretty darn cool.  i remember when i first arrived at marquette in 2000, and i was baffled that i couldn't find marquette apparel anywhere except the MU store, even at grand ave. mall, which was less than a mile from the campus.  i especially wanted to buy the game shorts, but they were nowhere to be found.  to see somethign like this really brings it full circle and shows how far we've come as a national name on the college basketball scene.  kudos to tom crean, bill cords, and that 2003 final four team for giving us a chance, and this current team for keeping it going...
