Not much love from the Coaches Poll this season so far.  AP will have us higher...15-ish.

I thought the same thing...especially Arizona sitting at #19 with a 13-5 record...but all in all it was a nice jump from #29 to #20.

Not a bad jump, as long as it doesn't go to their heads.  I'll take an unranked/#24 team reeling off 4 straight wins against quality teams than a highly ranked team playing terribly against mid-majors. 

Gary Parrish lists Marquette at #13 in his CBS poll, and now has Marquette as the projected Big East champs in his Projecting The Field.

Regarding the Zona record, there's much more to a team than its record (heck look at MU's record with a loss to SDSU).

But the coaches poll is bogus. Not all head coaches complete it - assistants do it for them.

I agree with you...I guess my thoughts were more along the lines of...IMO, at this point of the season, no team with 5 losses deserves a spot in the Top 20 especially the way U of A has been struggling the last 2 weeks...with our without injuries, illnesses, etc.

I tend to pay closer attention to the AP Poll although the Coaches Poll gets a ton of mileage on ESPN so it's always nice to see MU's name on the ticker.
