I  know it's only thursday...but what the hell are we going to do vs. this 2-3 zone? If we pray we make more 3's then we miss we may be in for a disappointing senior day...
It's not about ME,
It's about US.

get it to lazar or wes at the free throw line.  have cutters running the baseline.  kick out for open threes.  hope for the best.

Pay the Syracuse bus driver to make a wrong turn and send the thugs in orange to Indy instead of Milwaukee...

ok now seriously, I think we will be able to handle against a 2-3 zone.  If we can move the ball into the high post with Lazar, Butler, Wes, and then either kick out for a shot, drive... or make a move at the high post... I think we can handle the ball efficiently against Boeheim's 8th grade Parochial defense that has won him close to 800 games and a HOF award.

We are draining this year.  It's (almost) like Diener and Novak are back out there the way Wes, Jerel, and Lazar are hitting them.  Acker is starting to find a rhythm too.

IMO the 2-3 isn't as much of a concern as it has been the last few years for the following reasons.

1. Buzz's zone offense with Lazar cutting to the soft gaps
2. Wesley's new found ability to penetrate consistently
3. Team 3 point % better
4. Acker's outside shot isn't a liability

That said, we will still have our hands full with Cuse but if we lose it will be due to inferior talent/athleticism, loss of James, lack of depth, lack of post presence, not the 2-3 zone.

until fatigue sets in- Buzz has to get something more from our bench.  We were up 9 and ran out of gas.  You can only compensate for a lack of height w/ blinding speed and great shooting until your energy fades.  Felt my guy Jimmy Butler looked out of sync most of the time, Cubes was okay-primarily because he didn't shoot and his D wasn't horrible.  What about using Fulce or 1-3-1 w/Otule standing still w/ his hands up? have to try to rest these guys somehow.
