Man, you guys are tough.  The short bench obviously hurt you, but the MU players showed such grit and determination.  Any loss stings, but you should be proud of their tenacity.  Unfortunately, Pitt has a deep bench this year and a surprise ceremony retiring asst coach and former point guard Brandin Knight's jersey pregame electrified the crowd.  It was a stacked deck.

Having said all of that, I truly believe with the right matchups (hello Big 10?), you can advance far in the NCAA's.  Unbelievable the curcus shots your guards can make.  You will be a tough out.

Only one question:  Is it normal for your new coach to not call TO's?  Even we in the crowd were calling it for him.  There are other coaches who employ this tactic (i.e. Roy Williams), but I know so little about Williams that I wasn't sure if it was just tonight or all season.

Shake this off, get ready for NYC and the NCAA's.  Your players earned a TON of respect from the Pitt faithful.
