Haven't we been thru this enough times already Mike?  It's not going to happen.  We're not going to give up 2 home games for 3 years out of 4 for this tournament.  Plus, UWM and UWGB can't play each other anyways out-of-conference since they're both in the Horizon League. 

I'd be happy to give UWGB and UWM games against us at the same terms they are playing UW-Madision under, but this tournament's never going to happen. Give it up.

How long has this dweeb been covering sports? This was suggested by a know-nothing (myself) on the rivals board four years ago, and someone pointed out that it is an impossibility.

What would be the upside for UW and MU? Notice that the quote from UW's associate athletic director said, if he were at UWM, he would pursue this idea. There is clearly a reason that he isn't pursuing it now.

I did the same and then went to the blog home. There is no entry that mentions the state teams playing in a tournament.

Very fishy for them to delete it out of the record and act as if there was nothing there in the beginning. Maybe they felt that the candidacy of the applicants was compromised by them not knowing the rules?
