Two Biggest Moments came at 53-57
« on: March 01, 2009, 01:25:38 PM »
First the illegal screen call against Lazar that cost us 3 points.  It was a good call.  Hayward successfully set the pick and sprung McNeal free, but kept blocking the defender when he tried to roll to the basket.  THat was a killer.

Then Samuels misses two free throws and we don't control the rebound and they eventually score to put us down 6.

I was impressed with the way we continued to fight, but that was a killer sequence right there.

Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

absolutely. I thought we still had a shot until that missed rebound opportunity.

That was a killer, but it could also be argued that we lost this game in the first 10 minutes.  We had so many open looks and just couldn't capitalize.

There was another stretch where we were within 4-5, and had two shots (Jerel missed a good 3, and Wes missed a drive/pullup jumper) that were killer, too.
