Keeyan Half Court Dunks

Deadspin recognizes that we originated the big head.

But look at the school that is borrowing the concept. . . .

Strangely enough, I had a hand in that article.  Deadspin sent me (Cracked Sidewalks) an email and asked about the origination of the Big Heads.    We gathered some info and sent it to them.

No love in return, though.   Come to think of it, that dude never even replied with a "thanks."

Was it Rick Chandler that sent you the email?

I'm not liking the site as much as I did when Will was the main writer.  Sent him a tip once and he replied with a couple sentences including a "thanks" and offering me an invite to be a commenter on the site (back when it was invite only).

Yea, I'm cool.

Marquette didn't start the big heads. We stole the idea San Diego State.
But I like to throw handfuls...

That's what I told him.   And he correctly stated .. we popularized it, not created.

When I got my invite for a "tip" regarding the UW band shenanigans Will sent a nice letter thanking me for reading, etc.  I enjoy most of the content they still have (Daulerio's and Big Daddy Drew's stuff is by far the best).
