Can you put together a series of clips of his cramping and dramatic game stoppages (at Pitt, for example) due to injury?

Awesome post!  He scared the begeezes out of me 4-6 times a year with times he was slow to get up.  I realize he was working his butt off out there, but it started to get annoying.  Regardless, what a phenominal guy to have on our team!

T-Bone

Awesome.
For the kind of player James became: Wes to Dom to Jerel wins hands down.
For sheer athleticism: the put back dunk vs. ND.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Valpo is the most memorable for me.  That and the game at Pitt later that season when he would not let us lose.

Fullodds

Being in Valpo for that performance is No. 1 on my list.  A great college basketball experience all around.

ND put back dunk #2

Dominic james has been by far my most favorite player since DWade.  Amazing that each and every night on a court with some of the best athletes in the world he was allways still the best athlete.
The only negative i have from DJ's career was the venom he received from fans when Tommy Naismith miscast him as a shooter during his sophomore year.  That and the fact that Wes, jerel, and DJ for 4 staright years were surrounded by without tquestion the worst front court in the BE each year.  Give those 3 warriors even the front courts of Seton Hall ar Depaul and the last 4 years could have been something even more special.

Dienerfor3

Well for 3 of the years, Hayward was not that bad at the 4.  They were only lacking at the 5, offensively. It wasn't that bad.

My favorite players since DWade:

1. Novak
2. Hayward
3. Diener
4. Matthews
5. TBD (Butler is in the running)

Great thread!  That's a good way to get pumped up for the new season.  The latest group of seniors is going to be sorely missed.  In regards to the most memorable play by James......there are too many great ones to pick one best.  While the Valpo game was not televised in my area, I listened to Homer and Mac call the game.......incredible performance by Dom!  That's my winner.

Hey Big Chicken ( my daughter said this at 3 Years)..Totally awesome! :o

I, too, was at the Valpo game.    It begins and ends there.  that was just so many plays in a row.    Single play outside of that is the block against Tennessee.

Hey PueroRicanDoucheBag, please keep your self-loathing posts strictly to Crean threads only.  Thank you.

That Duke game in the CBE Classic his sophomore year was damn impressive.  25 and 7 on 9-15 shooting.
