What is the status of Jamil Wilson?

Is there any chance that Jamil Wilson will decide to attend MU?

Since this is your first post, I will answer.  There have been numerous threads over the past days, months, etc.

Bottom line, he will make his decision on March 9, 2009, which is the anniversary of his mother's death.  Scouting services, rumours, whatever, have him deciding between Texas, Michigan State and Oregon.  There are some amongst us with hope of him committing to MU.

And just so you know, there have been some public statements in Wilson's camp that he isn't very happy with Marquette due to Buzz declaring that they were no longer offering him a scholarship...only to turn around and re-offer it later.

Now my recollection is that this was back around October or so, and it has been a little quiet for the past few weeks, and my guess is that Buzz is still working to get in his good graces.  That may or may not amount to anything however.

Despite all the speculation and back-and-forth, I'd take him in a heartbeat!
