Tyshawn Taylor plays for  Kansas.  They're playing against Oklahoma.

Are we going to get updates every game?  Yes, Tyshawn Taylor is a good/great player and I actually enjoy watching him play.   But he's like any other recruit we almost got in the Crean era.  It'd be nice to have him but seeing guys like Chas McFarland succeed hurts far worse.

Not sure but LaDaryl Billingsley just had a triple double for his CBA team.

Regardless, the KU - OU matchup is getting ridiculous.  Great game.

Actually, we GOT this recruit.  That's what sucks.  We never got McFarland, but Crean actually landed this one.  It will hurt next year, but that's life in the big city.

Bill Self has done an incredible job this year.  If it weren't for them blowing a 14 point lead at Missouri, they'd be undefeated in the Big 12.

well, at least Buzz got the upgrade of Butler over Nick Williams.  Taylor would have been great, but who knows what recruits Crean would have gotten next year.  Doubtful Crean would have a highly touted big man coming to visit tomorrow.

Im glad Taylor found a good system for him.  From his perspective, having a coaching change at MU in April had to have made his life tough.

Nothing against Jimmy - I love what he has brought to the team lately - but it's hard to call him an upgrade over Nick Williams, if anything, because they play different positions. That being said, it is comforting to know that Williams is shooting .176 from 3pt, when he was a highly touted shooter while Crean was recruiting him.

Also, we'll be fine at PG next year. We just need to find a back up for Junior in 2010.

we need a back up point NEXT year--Mo and Cubes have proved this year, they can't do it.

Figure'd this post would happen...can we just start an entirely new, "Update on recruits Marquette didn't get" section along with the Superbar and Trading Post.  Taylor doesn't play for us, this has been rehashed a million times, MOVE ON.
