I totally agree that superstition on the part of the fans is ridiculous, but aren't our players pretty superstitious?  That could theoretically affect the outcome of the game...

That said, the color of the jerseys will be the last thing on my mind tomorrow, but I also don't want to see powder blue.

True, but unless I'm mistaken, I was under the impression that the team chooses which jerseys to wear each game, so if one set of threads has a mental power over them that prevents them from playing well, they really only have themselves to blame.
