Big Win today
« on: February 21, 2009, 04:14:51 PM »
I don't care what their record is Georgetown has a lot of talent.  A couple very important things about this win.  First we got back to winning on the road the same way we had during the streak.  Stay close then start to squeeze out a small lead after the 3 quarters mark and hold it down the stretch.  Second this lifts a lot of the pressure the team could have felt going into the UConn game.  We now go in confident plus UConn is no longer a must win to hold onto the bye bye.  A win in any of the next 3 plus a win against Syr pretty much locks up the double bye.
