Great to hear WE ARE MARQUETTE coming over the TV today.

I was at the VC in 2007 and even though MU lost it was still fun.  Anyone on here go this year?   How was it?

Tom Crean's Tanning Bed

I didn't make it out this year for various reasons, but I talked to a couple of friends out there post-game.  Said from their estimation, the MU turnout was as big if not bigger than 2007.
The General has taken on a new command.

I missed the game on TV, but would love to hear/see it.  Any video?
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

I went two years ago and great Marquette turnout. I was texting friends of mine at the game (today), both alums and non alums, and they said great Marquette turnout.

Homer and Mac said MU fans owned at least 5 sections of the VC.

Buzz said the MU crowd was great and wished them safe travels home.

I saw the G'town students in "We Are Georgetown" shirts and they were doing a "We Are Georgetown" chant but with a different cadence than we use.

Was this a play on MU's chant? Or something they do on their own anyways? It was a really good crowd. On TV you could tell there were tons of MU fans in the house.

I was wondering the same thing during the game.  Anyone know?

Tons of schools do the "WE ARE ________" cheer.

It's kind of like the " ________ difference."

my wife and I drove from Erie for the game. Great experience. By the end of the game owned the place. High fives and a lot of whooping as we walked out of the place. Awesome atmosphere. I saw people who I hadn't seen in years.
