With the gameday crew coming to town for the MU-Pitt game, does anyone know where they are going to set up shop?  Campus, Union, Bradley center?

Judging by what they did at Pitt last Saturday and at other venues all year... I'm guessing they'll set up at the Bradley Center.

They will be there from 10:00am your time until the conclusion of the Pitt-MU game.  I don't think they'd want their whole staff moving from one location to the other during the day.

I'm guessing it will be at the BC.

Hopefully Pitt has clinched the BE regular season title by then and both teams are just playing for seeding.   ;)

They will set up on center court at the Bradley Center with students and the general public behind them in sections 227, 200, and 201.

From 9 to 10 A.M. they will be filming segments shown on Sportscenter.  From 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. they go live with the college gameday crew.  Following that from 11 A.M. to roughly 11:45 A.M. they will be filming segments shown throughout the day on all of the ESPN networks.

And from 11:45am to 8pm they'll be at Turners & Bucks getting their drink on under the supervision of ESPN Consumption Expert Bill Rafferty...word is they are also flying in Deane-o & KO to assist in the all day efforts.  No word if Huggy Bear & his cigar will be there.

How are they going to coordinate the students? Are they bringing us in, then having us wait again? That could be chaos with people trying to get in line.

It's nice exposure for Marquette, but if you ask me the students are being used as props for ESPN. I'm watching this coverage from North Carolina and I find myself almost embarrassed for these students. They're obviously being told when to make noise. Are people really that desperate to be shown on television?

Hoops version can look a little staged but from personal experience; the football version is absolutely awesome.

Sounds like doors to the BC will open up at 8 am. Buses from the Al will be running for those who choose not to get there early.

There will be a special baby blue ESPN College Gameday shirts for those who attend the Gameday taping. People who sit in section 106 will be given a special wrist band compared to the rest of the students.

The taping goes from 9-11:30. And the set is arranged so they back of the announcers will sections 201-200-227. This is where the students and general public will be allowed for the Gameday taping.

After the taping. Everyone will be kicked out of the Bradley Center. There will be  giveaways, Famous Dave's, DJ's, etc to entice students to stick around outside after the taping. However, those who recieved the special shirt will be allowed back into the Bradley Center at 6pm.  If you have the wristband you will be allowed in section 106. All other students will be let in at 6:45.

At least that is what a friend told me.
