Watching the 'Cuse / G-town game on ESPN right now.  For some reason I never realized the Syracuse football team played in the same arena.  I know the NCAA uses football stadiums for the tourney, but I didn't realize a team used a facility this big for their primary home court.

It got me thinking, from a fan's perspective, what is the best place to watch a game?  Is it the small size of a Cameron Indoor that makes it the best?  Is it the huge number of people / volume that makes a football stadium the best?  How about being on top of the court for a large high school sized gym?  Or is the balance of all of these that makes a place like the BC the best?

Let me know and describe the atmosphere / where you're sitting.

they can be served on campus too - like the carrier dome.
But I like to throw handfuls...

My bad, I thought it was some kind of NCAA rule that an NCAA event on campus, alcohol can't be served.

It's just that the vast majority of on campus arenas don't serve, so the issue never even comes up.
