I think he'll be back by the Big East tournament.  Meniscus tears are known for looking much worse on MRI than with the scope.  As a high level athlete, it wouldn't surprise me to see him back before the season is over.

Agree. I tore mine years ago.  Hurts like a mother, but the healing process is not that long and doesn't change range of motion or leaping ability, etc.  He'll be back this year I would bet.

Up until this season I personally think he did more harm than good for UConn.  A selfish player that disrupted the flow of the team and they always seemed to do better when he was out.  This year, however, the light bulb has gone off and he is a much better all around player.

So he will be missed.  Great defender and all-around offensive player.  Think McNeal -10%.  As good as UConn is, you can't cavalierly say it won't be a problem because they have depth when a guy who has a solid shot at the NBA is out.

I disagree. Dyson is not only a stats leader for the Huskies but more then that, he is the emotional leader. Adrien is quiet. Thabeet only gets excited after he blocks a player eight inches smaller then him. Price isn't demonstrative.

Dyson is the vocal engine that leads UConn. We've all seen the reaction: either a team rallies around the loss or the team folds under the loss. The talent is there but in college basketball you need more then talent, you need heart and leadership (ask UNC).

I don't think Dyson is completely done for the year. And his impact will be noticed when anyone who beats UConn during this stretch gets an asterisk next to it because he was not playing.

Bring him back for the NCAA's.  Just keep UConn on the otherside of the bracket.
