Anyone else see the Pillsbury Dough Boy pick his nose and eat it on national television?

So, it wasn't just my imagination.  I absolutely saw that.  Pick, eat, pick...change cameras.

That was great.  I even backed it up on the DVR for my wife to see.  Apparently they don't have nachos down there?!

MU B2002

I was wondering what he was eating.  Quite funny. I did notice it was the last time they showed him on tv.

What?  I'm going to need more detail than that....and possibly a video clip.

Fifty bucks says the fat kid...picks his nose!!!

Great post. Was going to start this one. Wondered if anyone else saw it. Someone get that vid to Deadspin...or at least here.

LON

I can't believe I missed it...I saw the munch but didn't have the pick to bring it all into context

Blackhat

It was a real quick, slick pick and eat too.   You can tell he's perfected that move over the years.

Coach Norman Dale

Whenever I see someone (usually kids) do that it makes my skin crawl.  I can think of very few things more disgusting, and I cannot for the life of me even imagine why anyone would even consider doing such a thing, let alone actually doing it.  [Pretend I inserted a barfing smiley face here.]  Yuck.

Tom has a Tavern league Body these days...

DomJamesToTheBasket

That was amazing! Might see a replay on tv.......I sent an email to The Soup......

When I get home, I'll check ESPN360 to see if I can find it.  My recollection is that it was fairly near the end of the game.  I don't know how to save it from ESPN360, but I might be able to find out when it occurred in terms of game clock.

to finish the quote... "double or nothing he eats it!"

New Era Warriors

wait...who picked his nose???

4everwarriors

So that explains why Tom was such good pick and roll player back in his day.

While Crean probably scratched his ass on occasion, I admit I never saw him pick his horn and eat his own bodily secretions.

To his credit:

Picking your nose and eating it is one of the best ways to stay healthy, according to a top Austrian doctor.  Innsbruck-based lung specialist Prof Dr Friedrich Bischinger said people who pick their noses with their fingers were healthy, happier and probably better in tune with their bodies.  He says society should adopt a new approach to nose-picking and encourage children to take it up.  Dr Bischinger said: "With the finger you can get to places you just can't reach with a handkerchief, keeping your nose far cleaner.

"And eating the dry remains of what you pull out is a great way of strengthening the body's immune system.

"Medically it makes great sense and is a perfectly natural thing to do. In terms of the immune system the nose is a filter in which a great deal of bacteria are collected, and when this mixture arrives in the intestines it works just like a medicine.

"Modern medicine is constantly trying to do the same thing through far more complicated methods, people who pick their nose and eat it get a natural boost to their immune system for free."

He pointed out that children happily pick their noses, yet by the time they have become adults they have stopped under pressure from a society that has branded it disgusting and anti social.

He said: "I would recommend a new approach where children are encouraged to pick their nose. It is a completely natural response and medically a good idea as well."

And he pointed out that if anyone was really worried about what their neighbour was thinking, they could still enjoy picking their nose in private if they still wanted to get the benefits it offered.

hey i will freely admit i am all in favor of a good nose picking,  however, i think the issue was that he actaully ate waht he found!!

That's disgusting...

No - what is really disgusting is the chuckleheads that have it on tape and want to watch it again.  One shot of Tommy Boy is enough...

To quote John McEnroe: "You CANNOT be serious!"  I will put up with the occasional cold or flu before I would adopt this healthy practice!
