Frankly, why should Georgetown get any votes?  Five game losing streak, including losses to Cincinnati and Seton Hall.  They have fallen to the bubble of the NCAAs.  How many 12-8 teams usually get votes.  I know Notre Dame has the same record and the same five game losing streak, but all of their five losses were to top 15 teams.

Interesting to see Northern Iowa got a vote this week, I know they've been really really hot lately. By the end of the year if they win the MVC that could be another pretty decent win for our non-conference.

FWIW - even after their losing streak, Georgetown is still #18 in the RPI, and #18 in Pomeroy's rankings.  Their SOS is at #1, which probably is why the computers still like them.

I know a lot of ball to go, but if the #18 RPI team is now a "bubble" NCAA team, either the computers are very wrong, or their recent record isn't a good indication of their skill/ability.

Personally, I don't think their the #18 team in the country, but I don't think they're anywhere near a bubble NCAA team yet.  They do need to win their next couple home games against RU and Cincy though....

I meant their current five game losing streak.
