Scary to say, but Northwestern may be a bubble team.  Wins @ Michigan State and vs. Florida St, and .500 in the Big 10 as of now.

Northwestern has been playing well.  Wow.  Another alma mater of mine but I don't go to any of the games even though I live in Chicago.  I go to the MU homegames instead

But they have been playing better than other years

Now that MU has so many quality wins .. I don't care if UW loses out the rest of the season.  Ok, I do care, that's exactly what I'd like to happen.

Bucky did not give this game away. The Cats took it to them. Moore stepped up when Coble was having an off offense night. Absolutely fun team to watch. Very, very good defensively and patient with good shooters on offense. NU may be dancing for the first time ever.

I sat three rows behind the UW-Madison bench.  Thought Leuer was their best player tonight and he sat the last 6? minutes of the game.  I'm not sure why Bo doesn't like him.

Huh?  I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this.  It's just a basic swing offense - a variation of an offense that is pretty much taught at all levels of basketball.  My guess is that it is fun to play if you are winning - just like every offense.

Amazing. Badger fans worshiped Bo merely two months ago. Before last year, Bielima was the best coach of all time too.

The Badgers' season kinda gives me flash backs to the end of the Mike Deane era at MU.  Remember when the wheels started to fall off for Deane?

Un-athletic, slow down, "system" teams are fine when you are winning but once the winning stops they get to be down right unwatchable.

I'm still not sold that they won't make the NCAAs.  Their last 9 games are pretty soft.  I see 6-3 for them, though they are just helter skelter enough to go 4-5 as well. I just think they aren't as good as they were, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them squeak into the tournament either.
