Bobby Knight Likes Marquette

Someone told me on College Gameday they asked Bobby Knight what team he liked this year and he said Marquette.

Can anyone expand on this for me as I didn't see it?

You are correct, Bobby Knight, Jay Bilas, and Hubert all mentioned their love for Marquette.  I think I even heard them say we beat some GOOD teams!

they were talking about who the top teams are...  bob knight started it with saying he really liked Marquette. jay bilas and hubert davis jumped in and added how there are no better guards in the country on one team than the Marquette trio.  gave some love to Lazar being 6'6" and grabbing tons of boards.  bilas said that we still could run into trouble against teams like uconn, but our defensive will keep us in every game.  they also were talking about how our smaller team plays every possession as hard as we can all the time.  some serious love from the game day crew.  digger even agreed with everyone, but he is still a dbag in my opinion

Digger Phelps is a dork.

Knight did say that right now he like Marquette. he had been listening to jay Bilas talk up their guard play, and after watching them, he believes that the Warriors have the strongest guard play in the country. Bilas has been high on the Warriors the past two years.

Pretty lofty compliment to come from Knight.

I like Brey.  He always sings praises for Marquette.  Seems like a good guy.

I love Knight too.  I love how he can do whatever he wants at ESPN.  Everyone dresses in a suit, Bobby could wear a sweat suit if he wanted to.  Not to mention he is a great analyst.  Obviously he knows a thing or two about basketball.

I like all of the recognition but I wouldn't get too excited about BK's opinion.
