MU now 19-2 and 8-0 in the Big East.  What an outstanding second half!

30 for 38 free throws.  That is unbelievable.  Not only the percentage but the number of attempts.

Wes was great in second half and Butler had his career game.  Great win

There is not a more poised and effective team nationally in the second half of college BB games than these Golden Eagles.  I have rarely seen a college hoops squad parallel the composure of this group.  Wow!

I just hope this special season continues.  MU has exceeded every prediction on the MU Scoop pre-season posts.  Let's enjoy the ride.  This is fun to watch!

Great win!  Knocked down big shots and kept the lead.  The worst part of the game was when Wenzel kept saying "Jones" instead of "James".  Hopefully we can keep this going, our confidence is through the roof right now!!

Many of the TV commentators when discussing Marquette downplay the team's achievements by claiming that they have not played the meat of the schedule. That is absurd and insulting as most of the the teams we have beat are highly ranked and bigger and we have generally won our games going away and wearing the other team down. Marquette is legitinmately ranked and should very well be feared by the teams in "the meat" of its schedule.

Agreed. This has to be the week that convinces the doubters. Admittedly ND and GTown are kind of in free fall right now, but we beat two ranked teams this week. I think that counts for something.

This MU team continues to impress, takes everyone's best shot and keeps rolling. The most impressive part right now has to be the aggression on the boards. Being undersized, this squad is winning the battle on the glass, which leads to more open shots, etc. It's really a fun brand of hoops to watch. Let's enjoy this and I am convinced that this group of players now can make a deep run in March...I did not believe that the previous three years...there's just a confidence within this team and its fans right now.
