Another late game cheap shot...anyone but the crybaby and the scumbag from Seton HAll pull up on DJ's layin!!!

CTWarrior

I didn't think it was that bad.  Definitely not a cheap shot.  Playing until the final buzzer is OK with me.  That kid is a great college player.  I thought we defensed him brilliantly and he still made tough shot after tough shot.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I didn't think it was dirty either.  He just went for the ball, and really barely hit DJ.  Enought to knock DJ off balance, but I think calling it a "hip check" (as I think someone did) is an overstatement.  Also, I don't think he kicked him or stepped on him as some have said.  According to Rosiak's quick hits, DJ just cramped up (and had been cramping up earlier during the game).  I don't think Haragody had all that much to do with it.

Also, I kept telling my son, as long as Harangody is shooting from 15 feet, Marquette will win the game.  I got worried when they started getting him the ball deep.

Great, great game.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

+1

Couldn't agree more.  This kid is a fantastic college player.  I love the passion he brings.  Frankly, I thought MU did a pretty good job defending him last night.  He hit some unbelievable shots.

Go Warriors.

StillWarriors

Looked to me like he just accidentally stepped on DJ's leg just above the ankle by accident. MU wins by 20 if Harangody doesn't shoot out of his mind. MU never got rattled--another great performance by the Fab 4.

ecompt

My problem was, it was definitely a foul. It's bad enough that he NEVER gets called for an offensive foul or rebounding foul, but when he gets a non-call like that, you really hate the guy.

MR.HAYWARD

well it definitely was not as "dirty" as his late game antics last year,  but at that point in the game you pull up so someoen deos not get hurt and should not have to worry about whether someone is not going to call you a gamer.  His first 39:50 proved his worth.  Can only imagine what the ND people would be saying if someone did that to Harnagody!!!!

Kramerica

Not sure if it was dirty or not, but one thing is for sure and that is that HATE Luke Harangody.  I'm not sure what it is, but everytime I watch him play, I'm filled with the rage of a thousand burning suns.

only a warrior

Agree with you - but he is one of those players you hate unless they are on your team, and then you're glad you have them in the middle!

Very nice to see the freakin Domers go down at home last night - just wish it could've been us to end their streak for a second consecutive time.

muwarrior69

Actually we did somethng better. They now have a 2 game losing streak at home and have lost 4 in a row. Go Irish!!!

IAmMarquette

Come on guys, don't let our collective distaste for all things ND cloud your vision. There was nothing dirty about the play, and Harangody came nowhere near DJ's leg. There was some contact in the air well AFTER DJ had released the shot, but with the way the game had been called, it wasn't enough to be a foul last night.

warriormom

I thought his almost stepping on DJ looked contrived when I watched it again-like he went out of his way to stumble that direction.  It reminded me of two years ago when I think it was Jerel went down in the same spot and didn't Harangody step on him too?
But I am old and have no memory.

I believe you are correct. If I remember correctly Fitz proceeded to go after the ogre after that run of events.
