Whats your point?  He doesn't so we dislike him very much.  I personally cannot stand the guy, and though I respect his game he is the most annoying athlete that I can remember in quite some time.  Its possible that Chris Carter was worse, but I'm not sure.

This implies that he has an NBA future.  I look forward to watching him and "Pyscho-T" work their magic for teams like the Bakersfield Jam and The Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the D-League.

+2. The kid plays hard and with a lot of passion. I want to see that out of collegiate athletes. That will always be ok with me, even if the kid is playing for the opposing team.

The kid can play and acts like a fool. He falls into my top five most hated ND players. The cheerleading would not be as annoying to me if he was not so good. That combo = instant hatred by me.

Amen to that TheGymBar.  Another guy who has to be on your list and trumps Harangody on mine was Kelly Tripucka.

You are right that he had to be good to be so roundly hated.  Both had more than a little bit of beefy about them too.  Add Tripucka's buck teeth and the arm pumping antics and we've got my blood going again.

I thought it was awesome when he did that, because I'm pretty sure its an inside joke.  In the video game NCAA March Madness, when you score a three, sometimes you're player does that shimmy, and other times your player does that airplane move Cubillian pulled.

Couldn't stand Carl Krauser. Wayne Chism loves himself too. I'd put Brian Butch and Alando Tucker in the same class as well. Not that I'm biased or anything.

The difference is Wes doesn't do it every time HE hits a shot or scores.  He does it when the TEAM is going on a run or he feels they need a boost.  Gody never raised his arms when other players were making big shots...just when the camera was on him. 

I usually don't get on college kids, but he was drawing attention to himself, and they haven't won since he's been shooting the ball more than ever.  I'm just more convinced that it's about Gody than it is the team, and I think their record will/does show that.
