One reason to like Digger

In the post game, he took a jab at Crean.  He said "credit buzz williams for getting out of Tom Crean's mindset into what they believe and what they can become."

The day he was hired Buzz talked extensively about how the program was all about the players, and he has certainly followed through on that. This team and program is most definitely all about the players. Not sure that was as true in the not too distant past, and I think the players are responding very favorably to that.

in the post game interview... he gave all the props to mcneal and the team, and said he loves the guy and has never and will never coach a player as good as mcneal... love buzz, who gives all the credit to the players...

I also anticipate next year if they are struggling, he will take all the blame, the type of coach you want in college...

My buddy had to help Digger into a cab after he had way too much wine at a dinner function for the Mario Lemieux Celebrity Golf Invitational.  Sent me the pics to prove it.  Priceless!
