We're going to add a player in April and Wright is exactly what we need over the next years -- a 6'3'' college ready body that can drain it from deep and has a sweet mid-range game. He would add depth to a guard corps that needs it and he's got the steady demeanor that will come in clutch when we're going through the learning curve.

The group of talent with Cadougan, Maymon, Buycks, Roseboro, Williams, and Wright oozes potential.

In the latest report today from New Jersey writer Adam Zagoria, Wright's high school coach said South Carolina and Oklahoma State are the leaders and Marquette wasn't mentioned among his top 5 or 6 schools.  I think the ship has sailed on that one.

If dropped by Wright, that would be a disappointment. He has a package of skills that would create success in the Big East plus it would help to reestablish the Mount Vernon connection after Crean lost out on Mitchell.

Looks like Riley and Smith are in the front seat of the car but Wright is one backseat driver who would actually help the direction of the program.

Edit: I just read that South Carolina took a commitment from a NJ wing yesterday that perhaps would rule them out for Wright.
